This week we Skyped with another second grade class from Maryland in honor of Dot Day. The children shared the dots that they created on the iPad and we were able to ask questions about our schools and towns. Some of the questions included: What is the weather like where you live? What time is it there? Do you have to wear uniforms to school? Is your school in the country, city or suburb? How many students are in your class? Is your school a religious school? The children had great fun connecting to peers across the country (678 miles away!) and seeing themselves projected on the big screen. We hope to Skype again with Mrs. Silva's class and continue to build this new friendship. |
